JOHANNESBURG – You can hide, but you can’t escape the law.
That’s the message from ANC President Cyril Ramaphosa to illegal miners in Stilfontein in the North West.
This amid reports some zama zamas don’t want to surface to avoid arrest.

More miners came out over the weekend.
They’ve painted a grim picture of conditions underground.
Ramaphosa was speaking at a rally in Stilfontein ahead of by-elections in Thabazimbi in Limpopo.
